Marijuana Plant

Wine With THC Is Bad Wine #23

There are many reasons that wine with THC is Bad Wine #23. First, it was CBD wines. No biggie. But, now they are removing the alcohol and adding THC which is the psychoactive component of marijuana. This is scary and potentially dangerous. Imagine someone new to weed drinking the same amount of wine that they normally do, which for some people is the whole bottle. Then, they get a whopping dose of THC as much as 50mg depending on the wine. Next, imagine them driving and then it kicks in. Do the producers of these wines have any liability here? They should, because this can potentially cause deaths. And, why do companies keep screwing around with wine? Just sell edibles and call it a day.

How Much Is Too Much?

The answer is it depends upon the person. But, nobody should have more than 10mg at a time. For some producers, that equals one glass! Most edibles come in 10mg doses for a reason. It is plenty to get you high, relaxed and sleepy. Some people are in for a bad ride, literally and figuratively.

False Claims?

The problem with ingesting THC is that it takes upwards of 2 hours to kick in. They claim that they developed technology that makes it kick in quicker, but that remains to be seen. Another problem with ingesting it is that it takes really long to leave your system. Some people claim that they feel groggy the next morning and they sleep longer. But, the producers claim that they also developed technology to make it leave your system quicker. Unless they can perform magic, they can claim whatever they want. There are no regulations on this. There is no published scientific data either. It is an abomination of wine.
