Wine for the Weekend of 12/13/19

Castello Banfi Centine

Castello Banfi Centine is the Wine for the Weekend of 12/13/19

The reason Centine is the wine for the weekend of 12/13/19 is that it is a great example of what I preach. Find wines that are good, affordable and preferably from countries outside of the US. Also, this prevents you from buying labels. Centine scored 90 points which is fabulous for a wine that costs about $11-$12 per bottle. It is a blend of 60% Sangiovese (Chianti grape), 20% Merlot, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. This blend makes a great wine. Also, Castello Banfi is one of the best wine companies in the world!
