Bad Wine #19 is actually not a wine. Wine snobs defined is Bad Wine #19. The reason is they serve no purpose in the wine world or in any world. There are many types of wine snobs. First let us look at the definition of the word snob. The definitions can easily be associated with wine snobs. First, they think that they are better than most wine drinkers, because they know a lot about wine. Therefore, they will try not to associate with the average person, because they think you are beneath them. Second, they assume that they know more about wine than everyone else, including those that are very knowledgeable about it. Third, they know who they are, but never admit it.

The definitions of the word snob are two types of wine snob behavior. Also, I discover them regularly when they respond to some of my posts. They read a post of mine. Then, they look for any statement that they disagree with in the post. Next, the wine snobs will post a comment accusing me of providing false information even if the information is only slightly confusing, but correct. But, what really defines them is that their comments are very negative. They never say I enjoyed reading your post, but you might have worded a statement incorrectly. Instead, wine snobs just say I am wrong and some even make smug comments afterwords. Most of the time I just say thanks for reading my post. And, if you want to read more, click the link. If you happen to know a great deal about wine, there is nothing wrong with looking to hang out wine others who are similar. But, it does not make you better or a know it all. There are many nice people who know a lot about wine, and they know how to tone it down at gatherings with the average person. They do not accuse others who know about wine of being wrong. And, they never accuse or say negative things followed by snobby remarks. The fact is wine snobs are a sad sort. They do not know how to fit in with society and they live a lonely existence. Nobody wants to talk to them at gatherings. All they talk about is wine to people holding beers. My advice is to identify them and steer clear.
